Leah Abrams is a speechwriter passionate about using storytelling to promote social justice. As an associate with West Wing Writers, she crafts strategic communication for progressive clients and occasionally attempts to write jokes. Her work has been featured in the News & Observer, RealClearPolitics, and the Duke Chronicle, where she served as Opinion Editor and chief complainer in undergrad. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with highest distinction in Public Policy and was awarded the George P. Lucaci prize for creative nonfiction. She has known Jerrell since kindergarten, so he better be nice to her or she’ll leak embarrassing middle school videos.
